The Arming State Upgrading Training Course is a program for a transition from unarmed to armed status with a total duration of 20 lesson hours. This training program is offered to those who succeeded in attending the 100-hour unarmed training course under Law No. 5188 and those who want to convert their unarmed certificate to the armed one. There are weapon knowledge and shooting lessons included in.

At the end of the course program, the students are subjected to a test exam from the 25-question armed section and a shooting test with 5 bullets.

The value of each one of these 25 questions is  “2” points whilst each bullet amounts to 10 points during the shooting. The questions of weapon knowledge and shooting are evaluated together and it is necessary to get at least 60 on average.

Conditions of Participation

• Having the Unarmed Security Primary Training Certificate.
• Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey.
• Not Being Banned From The Public Rights.
• Having the adequate health conditions.
• Being at least a high school graduate and over the age of 21.

• Photocopy of the Identity Card
• A copy of the Security ID Card
• 5 Photographs
• The Original and Photocopy of Diploma or Education Certificate
• Bill of Health (stating no issues found to become an Armed Private Security Officer – from the state hospital)
• Residence Certificate
